About the Halloween Update.
It was removed, because of the simple fact that 1.2 just came out, and I didn't want to keep an event update feature from an older version in a newer version. Instead, there will be a Halloween themed map, releasing on Halloween Day, which will be update 1.2.2. The only reason it isn't going to be 1.3 is because holiday maps aren't huge, and don't need a whole new version just for them.
