Windows Development

Hi all,

It’s kind of strange that this project - which has been lying dormant for 6 months or so - has almost as many followers as the game that I’m actively working on full-time. Before I give you the good news, how about you make my day and give that one a follow too, yeah? :)

So here’s the news: I’ve been working on the much-requested Windows port of these mini-games!

The original was written in native Mac OS X / CoreMIDI APIs, so I’ve had to go and learn the Windows equivilent. The Windows API actually dates back to Windows 3.1. Crazy, right?

After some fiddling about, and an accidental lightshow, I’ve just about got the Launchpad to display the menu, and now I have to get the input working.

I’ll keep you all posted on further developments. Thanks again for the support! :)

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.
