Its really a shame that things are going down like this, but Gamejolt has set a chilling precedent that can't be ignored. They've gone against their message of giving game creators a place to earnestly put out their work and carve out a name for themselves, free of worry that the platform would ever unfairly censor or silence them. They've shattered any semblance of trust that myself and many other creators had for them. It really pains me. Gamejolt gave me a platform and space to meet so many wonderful people that have turned into cherished friends. It saddens me that this could easily be how it all ends. Unless Gamejolt drastically changes how they're going about things, Itch.io or any other platform that may be able to provide what gamejolt used to will be where myself and Im sure many others will be hosting their projects.
