Game
CAECUS

With the help of a great artist, I've done a rebrand of the game to make it seem a little bit more attractive. You can find more art from this artist called Hygge at https://www.deviantart.com/hyggetheartist

Also, check out my game which is now called CAECUS.

My drawing skills are not the greatest, but instead of trying to draw something that looks very pretty, I just embrace my lack of skill and draw in an extremely simplistic style. These are all the images used for the tutorial.

Got all this beautiful water and even swimming physics but it will never be used since the entire game is indoors. Funny to see how the game changes over time and what kind of creations become obsolete.

Check out https://3dtextures.me/ for some stunning free-to-use high quality textures! I have used several textures for the models in my blind horror game, which you should also check out!

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

Afraid of the dark? Well, then this game is not for you. You must escape the house in total darkness, not being able to rely on eyesight. "How is that possible?", you may ask. Perhaps the only way to escape is to use your strong sense of hearing?

Both the game and the TV show of The Last of Us have been praised for their depiction of Bill. In 2013, GLAAD described the game's Bill as being "as deeply flawed but wholly unique a gay character found in any storytelling medium this year."

I finally managed to release the newest patch, version 0.4.0! With big improvements to graphics and gameplay, it's the perfect time to start playing. You can find the game on https://eirix.itch.io/exorcists

The tutorial is found on the in-game computer. You will find everything you need there to exorcise the ghost. https://eirix.itch.io/exorcists

This week's #FanArtFriday celebrates the release of #SecretOfTheMimic!

Accept the quest to get started.

For the architecture of the game, I used Archimesh in Blender. While the tool has some flaws that make it slightly inconvinient for game development, I highly recommend it for some quick prototyping. In the future I will make my own building editor.
