Yesterday we released our first game together as a team on Steam. Less than 27 hours later someone managed to beat it on the hardest difficulty - We never even got remotely close without cheating

Powergamers are something else.

We first set out to try and make a digital version of a physical cardgame back in spring 2024, as a sidequest to our normal jobs. Mostly to learn Godot engine and it's quirks. But also as a homage to the pixelart games we grew up with and love

Our first game together launches in five days completely different feeling launching our own thing instead of co-developing and releasing someone elses dream! The game is a short and sweet dungeoncrawler choose your own adventure hybrid made in Godot

Steam Next Fest wraps in a little less than two hours, we are beyond stoked at the feedback we've gotten. And we were ecstatic to see people streaming our game and reading the story out loud to their viewers Next up is the game launch at the end of March

Just a bit over two weeks until Tower of the Ice Lich releases! Looking at the backlog so many scrapped ideas stare back at us 👀 Next we have to solve the big question: sequel with more features and a larger scope or something completely different?☠️

Countdown to Steam Next Fest! It's always so double-sided the last few hours before the festival: looking forward to seeing how the game is received and if anyone will bother checking it out, and ofc the paranoia that we forgot something in the build

It was great to have a finished product as a blueprint, but we quickly learned that when the computer flips the cards and rolls the dice for you the game can feel like a clicking simulator.. So we altered the game and went all-in on the lore and story

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

If you’ve played the Vault demo and enjoyed it, please consider ‘liking’ the game page here on Gamejolt and/or leave a comment!

Also please consider tossing Vault on your Wishlist, I really appreciate your support!
