Zombit Nightly - 11.30.13


Tonight I’ve done a lot of work on the chat system. It’s now streamlined and the text is easier to notice against any background. The mystical elevator is now functional, although the first level cannot be exited yet, expect a surprise in the next update.

I’ve also got a proper tutorial in the works that should be complete soon. Afterwords it’s on to getting the opening scenes done and then the rest of the levels to fill it in. Baby steps.

Changelog:

  • Add: Working elevator to reach the end of levels.

  • Add: New sound for text popups.

  • Bug Fix: The touch controls should no longer have discoloration or artifacting.

  • Change: Text now pops up with a background and no longer follows over head.
