He was a dragon and the mascot for the restaurant Tex Critter’s Pizza Jamboree!

Crusty The Cat Appreciation post!
Crusty the Cat debuted with the rest of the Pizza Time Players in May 1977, then he retired 1978, in San Jose California
Crusty was nicknamed "The Cat's Meow" and was the first character to be retired.
