If you are making a very large story game, BUT unsure if gonna be popular or not, divide it by chapter.

If chapter one is good, do the chapter 2.

If you are a rookie in game dev, I recommend to start with small games.

Adults are often busy by works, so making small games on PC and/or mobile can be useful here if they have less than one hour to play.
