Tane Forest is a visual novel built like a living book. Every scene is animated — characters blink, leaves move, light changes. You don't just read it. You sit inside an illustration and watch it breathe.
The World
A long time ago, there was a small clearing. Now there is Tane Forest — the largest forest in the kingdom, a place where magic runs through every root and stream.
At its heart lives Cline.
She is the last of her kind — an ancient race, something between elf, demon, and human. Drawn in a stylized anime aesthetic with bold hatching. She has lived for over a thousand years. She grew this forest from that single clearing. Every tree remembers her voice.
The Keeper
Cline is not just a resident of Tane Forest. She is the forest.
She hears the whispers of the trees. She feels the roots beneath the soil. For centuries, she has watched the world outside her borders rise and fall. Now she is the last guardian of a place that exists only within these woods.
She is not alone. A massive stone golem sleeps among the ancient oaks. Magical creatures roam the shadows. Every being in Tane Forest carries magic in their bones.
The Demo — Episodes
Before the main story begins, there is a time of quiet.
The demo will be a collection of short episodes — glimpses into the last century of Cline's life. Different seasons. Different encounters. Different faces from within the forest.
These are the moments that shaped her. The years that made her who she is.
