What do you think?

Lovely graphics, it reminds me of design tech class in school (hopefully that doesn't give away my age too much haha). I can't claim to have understood everything but I had fun, great job!

Woah that was great. I never had a macintosh but as a kid I had a friend with one, and this really made me feel like I was back at his place playing a hypercard game called The Manhole. Was the particular style you used inspired by any game in particular?

Anyway, the style was spot on, you nailed all the UI and everything. The quantity and quality of the art was really impressive, really polished, and detailed. And same for the characters, they had a lot of work put into them. You created a really interesting world for them to live in, and it was great finding out little tidbits about it as I talked to characters. I was definitely thrown by the...events that happened, they put a smile on my face, for sure even if I was more on the confused side if I'm honest! I love games to take me where I don't expect and you certainly did that!

A surprising game with an interesting setting. To mention certain elements I especially liked might spoil other players here. Looking forward to your next games.

Neat game !

Very clever! Thanks for the hint - I'm dumb You've really nailed the Classic Mac feel (really felt like a Hypercard thing, actually) and it was cool to see a character from your earlier game return. I hope that people will not skip your game just by virtue of the black and white screenshots - that would be a big mistake, as there's so much depth in there. One of the most intricate stories in an AdvJam game I've seen thusfar, rivalled perhaps only by Marco Giorgini's in scope.

In a past that never was

In a place that's never been

A peculiar story

Is about to begin

I deliberately named this game after a street that I was certain didn't exist anywhere in the USA. However, as of this writing, there is a Mock Orange Way under construction in Colorado.

Uploaded a new version that fixed a small error where Doris' name appears before player is introduced to her, as well as another problem where Kevin appears where he's not supposed to be.

Here's a link to a behind-the-scenes page I put together, containing lots of secrets, concept art and trivia about the game. It's also full of spoilers, so proceed at your own risk if you haven't finished the game: http://akril15.com/games/616mow/616mow-bts.html

Uploaded new version. Fixed a tiny continuity error and removed a line of dialog from the introduction to Sybella et al. that refers to additional dialog I decided to remove from the first meetings with the tenants.

Uploaded version 1.0.1, which fixes a spelling error and a very small bug related to the puzzle box.
