Gamers rarely talk about a shmup's mechanics. The reason is simple. The biggest gameplay difference between most shmups is vertical or horizontal orientation. That is why every shot in AWOL Ahab lowers the score. People needed something to talk about.
The AWOL Ahab cases are done. I'll have these at the next convention.

- The spine is a combination of backgrounds from 3 levels. The top planet is Ahab's home. The bottom planet is the bee planet.
