Probably the worst game I ever played.

I have to admit, I had a hell of a chuckle when I said "No, I am not the hero" and it brought me back to the start screen.

Joking aside, I see a lot of effort was put into this and that surely shines through. However, as a game, I gave it a score of "meh" because (while it was your first game, and an astounding first game at that) as a game it is nothing very unique. It feels like an average JRPG along the lines of Final Fantasy, and does absolutely nothing new. It also has lots of botched dialogue and typos, and redundant questions or sequences (Like "Are you the hero who came to save the prince?" - it breaks the realism, as no one would ask you that without knowing you). Also, in certain areas, the game looks pretty good but there are little inconsistencies (such as a boulder which has no background grass while the rest of the area has it). Yet another gripe I had was the font. For the love of God, choose a different one. While it may look good as cursive, it is hard as hell to read. I found it painful for me (someone who knows cursive well) to read, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's the font for the letter I'm talking about. One other thing I found is that the timed maze puts lots of pressure on the player, but it does not feel fun necessarily. Instead, maybe add in a puzzle? Lastly, make sure the controls are visible in the fights and stuff, because I had to mess around pressing random keys to finally find out 0 is back in the items screen (I forgot what it was).

With that giant essay being said, I do want to reiterate that this is a VERY impressive first game. I am not trying to hate on it at all, I'm just giving out advice I think will be appreciated in development of the sequel. I'm following you so that I can see all of this advice put into action next time ;D
