Sorry about the lack of images for now! I was kinda in a rush to get this out since I just wanted a place to use/make a devlog and don't have the artwork done for any of the main visuals yet. (The thumbnail for one thing is gonna change, eventually!)

In the year 200X - Humankind has coexisted with machines for the past 300 years, many of these robots capable of thinking and feeling just like a human can.
RAPT-4, a robot bounty hunter who specializes in hunting down his own kind that would use their powers for chaos,  has recently caught wind of the robot security company "NGTV" - and their shady deals going on in the major cities...

Feeling that this is the start of something greater, RAPT-4 and his "little buddy" - EKF, set out to follow a loose trail of clues to figure out just what exactly this company is planning...

FEATURES

An electric speedster with a strange immunity to every robots major weakness - an INDOMITABLE POWERHOUSE WHOSE TRUE PURPOSE IN LIFE TO SO BECOME THE ULTIMATE FIGHTING MACHINE! An apathetic Samurai, an incredibly loyal Knight, a lazy sheriff - and a few others to help you on your way.

6 Cities (Worlds)

As you go about investigating the case of NGTV - you'll visit each major city that exists on this Planet Earth, exploring it and its culture as well as solving their own personal cases that may arise. Cities will be shown off further into development, but for now - enjoy the "hints" from the section above on what to expect.

Buff Based-Strategic Gameplay.

Instead of utilizing the same ATB, or standard turn based system seen in most RPGMaker titles, Breakthrough utilizes the CTB battle system - meaning you control the flow of battle. Need to heal a party member up, but the enemies turn is next, and they're the target? Stop them in their tracks with a skill specifically made to skip theirs, or make them move after someone who you know will take them down! Breakthroughs combat system also relies heavily on knowing how to properly buff yourself, and debuff your enemies. Status ailments will help too, every now and then.
If i'm being honest, the games gonna try to beat you into the ground as much as it can. Have fun!
