Creepypasta Land: Lost Episode

I just recently finished playing it, and, well... it was interesting. I really enjoyed the overhauled combat system, and the custom battle sprites were very well made.

Some of the new content didn't make a lot of sense. I'd say my biggest problem with this game is the trial for the holy power. The whole trial felt a bit disjointed, as well as maybe a bit overblown. I think it would be advisable to make it a little more clear that that segment in the alternate version of Creelles Town is meant to be the Fourth Wall Demon screwing with you. At first, I actually thought that the game had bugged out and sent me somewhere I wasn't supposed to be yet. I did eventually figure out what was happening, but it left me confused for a while. Also, the final battle with Mephi was WAY too easy, I beat him in about 5 or 6 turns, and he barely even attacked me. I had way more trouble with the Nox Alicorn Beast, which was probably the toughest boss in the game.

I'm also a little disappointed that there weren't any alterations to the main story dialogue. The sequence where Dee seals Mephi suffers the worst from this. It doesn't really make sense for Ben and Sally to still be afraid of Mephi after they just beat his ass in a fight. Also, having a choice that can cause a game over after beating the final boss is a bit of a dick move (especially since people who have played the original game might be speeding through the dialogue and not really paying attention). I would recommend making the sequence where Mephi summons Jeff and the game asks the player if they are afraid happen before the boss fight, not after it.

Still, this is a very impressive mod. It could use a few tweaks to some of the enemy stats, and maybe a rewrite to some of the dialogue, but overall, it was a fun experience. I would definitely recommend it to fans of the original game.

How am I supposed to go beyond the ice part? (also this game is so good)
