Mr. String's Deltarune Chapter 5 Fantake

Alright. I'd like to give my personal views on this project. The best way I can describe it is "Missed potential". The idea of the flowers being a sort of group enemy is great to me and Flowey as their royal leader is quite good too. But the execution of all this is where things struggle. Sprites are blurry and subpixeled, text boxes don't match up in text size, color and have no sounds, and the writing here is tragically bad. Kris's character is far more complex than simply "Kris is evil and they wanna kill everyone"(Nevermind the fact you got Kris's pronouns wrong). Each of the battles were also seemingly made in different engines with varying levels of quality. None of the battles seemed consistent at all, and the attacks were either too easy, in the cases of Flowey and Asgore, or just too fast in the case of the Green Flower, which you neglected to even name. All in all, this project has been highly disappointing, but that shouldn't discourage you from trying again in the future. I know you can do better than this. Take your time on the details, focus on learning the nuances of Deltarune's plot and find a good engine to use to tell your tale. I'd suggest either Create your Kris or Kristal to do so. Either way, I wish you the best in future projects.
