Monday
After my dad passed away, my mom and I moved into this old house we inherited. I was 13 at the time, and my mom, Rebecca, thought a fresh start would help us move on from our sadness. Night: That night, I couldn’t sleep very well. I kept hearing weird noises in my room—creaks and whispers. I saw a shadow near my closet and noticed my stuffed animal on the bed changing shape to look like Freddy. I grabbed my flashlight and shone it on the stuffed animal, making it go back to normal. I stayed up until the noises finally stopped around 6 a.m. The next morning, I told my mom about it. She didn’t seem to think it was anything serious and told me to try to sleep better the next night.
Tuesday to Thursday
Nights: In the nights that followed, things just kept getting stranger. I had to keep flashing my stuffed animal to keep it normal, turning off my computer when it started making loud, scary noises with Freddy’s picture, closing the closet to make Foxy go away, and locking my door to keep Bonnie and Chica out.
Friday
Night: Determined to prove what was happening, I took my old camcorder and set it up to film the hallway from my room. I managed to capture some spooky shapes moving through the hallway. The next morning, I showed the video to my mom. She was really shocked when she saw it. She found out that the house used to belong to Evelyne Afton, who was connected to Freddy’s Fazbear Pizza. The police confirmed the house had a history of strange events with animatronics. My mom called the police right away, and we quickly packed up and left. We took the camcorder and the video with us as proof. The police began investigating the house, and my mom and I moved to a new place where we finally felt safe, far from the creepy stuff in our old house.
