I love the demo!!!!
Good to see this gaining a bit of traction after I blurbed about it on my Tumblr a couple of months ago, but anyway, I like the minor tweaks in the demo, specifically the health counter for the Darkwing boss battle.
I like what I see so far. The spritework is nice and polished, the physics are satisfying, the controls are tight and responsive, and the care put into the environment for the visuals is really good (got a bit of a laugh at seeing the other familiar DWD villains in thier cells, and the smiley face on QuackerJack wall of tick-marks).
Really looking forward to the finished product. This is clearly a passion project, and I love that.
Just finished the demo, it's really promising so far! The gameplay between each member is similar enough that you don't get confused when switching characters, but different enough that it doesn't feel repetitive. The writing also, so far, very very good and in character! Especially Quackerjack's whole part! I can't WAIT to see where this goes!
Fearsome five is an parody fangame about a group of enemies and overall main antagonists from the television series Darkwing Duck. This game is inspired by The Disney Afternoon cartoons, Darkwing Duck Boom! Studios comics, Capcom Disney Afternoon games on NES and Darkwing Duck The Last Action fangame from Hammer Bros.
You can play as five villains with slightly different gameplay. Clear stages, fight bosses, collect money to buy extra lives and skins in in-game shop. The game will have two different endings depending on your answers in dialogues.
Right now in Chapter 1 there is 6 levels.
