Hahaha! This game was awesome! Though you could fix the next button because if you click for too long it skips some dialouge...
(I'm assuming you made this in GM:S by the way.)
If you're using drag and drop (but I recommend you use GML because it's more flexible), use the Left Pressed option instead of Left Button.
If you're using GML, use mouse_check_button_pressed(mb_left) instead of mouse_check_button(mb_left).
These check to see if the mouse button is clicked insted of being pressed down, so if you held the mouse button down it wouldn't countinue doing the same action again and again (in this case, skipping dialouge).
Did that make sense? That made sense.
