I feel so much potential brewing here! There's so much to do and so many people to talk to and so many nooks and crannies to poke around in, and this is just a small taster of what seems to be coming!

Gotta just say right off the bat though that I did run into a few bugs during my playthrough, like conversations ending and no way of getting out of them. Actually that may have been the only major thing... but you know, it's a minor issue as long as you choose to autosave just before it happens!

Okay, now that's been said, I really like the feel of this. It's a very open-ended, open-world kind of environment where you can wander freely, talk to whoever you want, climb up things, pet dogs (and make friends with dogs!), barge right on into people's personal space, do some sick jumps over potentially life-threatening drops, irritate people sitting on stationary flying machines waiting to take off... I mean, the possibilities are endless!

What this game needs is a lot more tender lovin' and affection to really polish and smooth everything out. And I have faith in Will to do just that and deliver a quite phenomenal(ly weird) experience for us all!

So get the demo downloaded, do some wandering around of your own and give Will some confidence-building critique and support!

Welcome to Outset.

Outset is a 2D platformer RPG being developed for PC and Mac. You control an Explorer, a wanderer tasked with searching the surrounding world and ideally finding something useful to bring back to your home - the village of NOTDON.

But how will you do that? With your grappling hook!

This stylish tool lets you speed across gaps and barrel through the world, as well as take down any foes dumb enough to get in your way. It'll even impress the other Explorers (for good or for worse) and make you the talk of the town, for the first time ever!

Along the way, you'll encounter ferocious foes, navigate the world, and maybe uncover some secrets about the world around you and your place in it.
