Hi I made a sequel (which is the game you're playing uhh yeah) Character mechanics below, I prefer you understand the mechanics from trial and error, or the hints the game gives you, but at the same time, some of the character mechanics aren't instantly obvious, so I'll just say those ones first.
Two of your essential items (Math Book and Singing Walnut) Will wear down eventually. Making it so that you can't use them. Snooey will be active at 4:00, he will frequently run into the room Hom is in, and lower his Awakeness bar by 12. Rittle (the R button on your desk) will ask you a riddle. If you get it right, it will fix your items (Math Book and Singing Walnut) if you get it wrong, your cameras will be temporarily very staticky, and hard to see. Snorice will be active at 3:00. If you look at him on a camera for too long, he will jump scare you, which'll make Joel get closer to you.
(Ok, now the rest of these mechanics are the mechanics you can find out easily)
leoJ is active immediately. He will teleport, and sometimes noclips into the backrooms (Sometimes it'll look like he's not on any cameras) Make sure to check your door frequently. When he's at your door, study. Hom is active at 1:00. He will be sleeping in camera 10. His awakeness starts at 50, press the walnut on your wall to make it sing, which will put him to sleep. If his awakeness bar ever goes to 0, he will attack you, nothing can stop him after he's awake. Joel will be active at 2:00. He will slowly get closer to you in cam 11. When you hear a crying sound, throw the book Rablind will be active at 1:00. He'll follow a set path, and once he's at your door, don't do anything. If music is playing, or if you're on the cameras, he'll get you. If you click the book while he's at your door, he'll get you, but if you already have it equipped, you'll be fine. (Just don't throw it at him)
