Hey devs,
I gave it a shot. Really well done graphics, truly incredible. The attention to detail is also amazing, I love it. I did make a few comments and suggestions in my video so be sure to check that out as well! Keep up the great work!

โ€‹This was an utter delight! Really took me back to the good old days of raging at games like Mega Man and Metal Slug. The level of detail that's gone into the backgrounds (and foregrounds) is really something, there's so much to admire here.

The controls are nice and intuitive (I kept pressing the wrong buttons because I'm an idiot, once my brain finally got into sync with my fingers it was fine), the demo level on display is challenging but not to the point of being impossible (or even seemingly so), and the boss fight was excellent!

I'll definitely be watching out for more of this brilliance, keep up the amazing work =)

This game is still an alpha, things like the UI and Menus and performance are still a WIP.

**There's currently a bug in Construct 2 where falling on a vertically moving solid object can sometimes kick the player out of it. This bug's been reported, and should hopefully be addressed by the time the game releases. ๐Ÿ‘

Performance notes: Running a stream or video or similar site off-tab can lag the game. There's a graphics option in the pause -> settings menu to help with this. Performance and optimization is still on the to-do list. The game is also mostly CPU reliant, rather than GPU.

Update 11/9/2018
New mechanics include:
-Grappling Hook (press L1 to use). Automatically grapples to the nearest hook or enemy.
-Revolver Auto-Charge. Your shots will now charge automatically.
-Ceiling Grab. Press up while jumping against a ceiling to grab onto it.
-Incendiary Shot (replaces Pulse Shot). Charge shots now cause enemies to catch on fire, dealing extra damage over time.
-Counter-Attack (press down + melee weapon while on the ground). Blocks an incoming attack or bullet, strikes back and grants a few seconds of invulnerability. Costs 1 energy.
-Giga-Attack (press right bumper, or R3). Fires a large beam forward, dealing damage to anything it touches. Only usable when your Giga Meter (bottom right) reaches 100%. Damage dealt to enemies charges the meter, and damage dealt while the meter is still spinning will double the charge amount.
