1. Welcome to Viva 23 referee. Here you are the judge, jury and executioner. Your main objective is to manage the match and survive till the end. You may lose your head in some of those games…literally.
2. Your whistle is your best friend. Use it to stop fights and discipline players.
3. Players who make silly fouls are highlighted in white and need a gentle sentence (e.g. bat in the face). Others who are more aggressive are highlighted in red and may need more vengeful punishment (i.e. more lethal interventions) to make sure they learn their lesson.
4. The more you “discipline” players on the pitch, the higher your reputation will get.
5. However, make sure you do not piss off the fans too much or they will start making your life a living hell. Seriously.
