just played through the first release and i have to say that it's awesome!) it's a classical city-under-siege fantasy set in the familiar city of Tbilisi with well-done characters that are fun to control in the battle, tough enemies, even tougher bosses, cool NPC's to interact with and an expansive, amazing map to explore around!) while there's not much locations in the first release, the ones that are in it are pretty detailed and are fun to traverse, so, it's all good)
despite being quite small right now the game still has a lot of little and neat details that make the whole experience all the better - like the the custom abilities that make fighting monsters all the more fun - thank you for taking the time and making the player's party full of such interesting combatants!) and talking about enemies - them just having unique names instead of generic ones like Frilled Lizard or Electro Bunny makes them all the more fun to fight - in fact, i was so interested in seeing just how many cool enemies there are that i never skipped any of the fights!) when i first came upon the Goddess of Death i decided to run away from her since i thought she was some sort of a secret boss and the fact that she commented on my act of cowardice was such a cool little detail that greatly helped my immersion with the game!) its also really cool that she sics her soldier of death on the party after being defeated herself - although, it would've been wise of her to first send in the soldiers and then herself, or fight alongside her troops, but, oh well - i guess wisdom isn't one of this goddess' domains, jajaja!) and, finally, the fact that you can shop without entering the shop itself is pretty nifty and saves some time!
but, in the current version there are some problems, too - not major ones or any that break the game/make the whole experience bad, just some small things that should be adressed - like the fact that there are some houses in Imereti that have signs on them but can't be interacted with, which is a shame - an inn and a consumable item shop would be great to have, or the absence of any items that remove the poison condition from the characters - a simple antidote buyable from the guy at the beginning along with other items would do wonders, or a mana potion, since Lisa can't really restore her mana pool in any way once it runs out...
all in all, the first release of Heroes of Georgia made a good first impression on me - it was fun to play, had tough but fair boss battles that had great little details to them and, overall, had a lot of love put into it - and it shows!) Giorgi, i wish you best of luck, nerves of steel and lots of inspiration while continuing the development for this game and in any future endeavors you might embark on!) take care and see you in the next release!
