Hidden in the Dark is a tense,
minimalist horror game where you work as both night guard and day guard in a dark facility.
From a single office, you monitor security cameras, track a slowly advancing anomaly, and decide when to shut the door to survive the night or gamble for the anomaly variety if it’s wrong variety you die.
Every action drains limited energy or kills, forcing careful timing, restraint and hard decisions.
Spotting the anomaly lets you file reports for money and less anomalies, which can be used to improve equipment during calm daytime shifts for the scary and hard night shifts.
Mistakes, hesitation, or wasteful decisions quickly stack the odds against you which adds harder anomalies and more which results you fast death or instant death.
You should choose when to close the door and when you gotta let it and click it, mistakes are unforgivable, they just stack up against you!
Survive a week. Do your job right. Read logs for finding story and don’t waste power or it might result a death.
