Hotline Delarge is a free-to-play top-down shooter with an atmosphere of good old ultra-violence. Developed from scratch by a single developer.
The gameplay is refer to Hotline Miami, with one twist: before clearing a floor, you can spend your earned points on weapons. Whether to grab a powerful shotgun or kill silently with a baseball bat is up to you.
The project is supported on Windows, Mac, and Android.
The controls on smartphones are unique. The Stop/Run button in the right corner allows you to switch the left joystick between movement and aiming.
You have an infinite number of attempts to choose the ideal tactics and complete each of the 20 locations as beautifully as possible.
For success, you can use any trick: hide behind a wall and shoot to call enemies by the noise, stun them by slamming doors, or if your weapon runs out of ammo, throw it at the enemy. Impressive attack makes to earn more points.
You must kill all enemies on the floor. You have only one life, but an unlimited number of attempts.
- Movement: WASD keys.
- Attack: Left mouse button.
- Drop and pick up weapons: Right mouse button.
- Aim: Left shift.
- Restart level: R.
- Pause: Spacebar.
