This game was initially meant for GM48 (weekend gamemaker jam), but its scale got too big. As they always do with me. However, feeling somewhat focused, I think I'm ready to actually finish this one (some day).

Into madness will be an RPG with procedurally generated levels and turn-based combat and an emphasis on light, vision and stealth enemies.

It will be horror themed and the Character will lose Sanity in contact with scary things and arcane books (these can also teach you some new things so, it can actually be worth it).

There will be (at first) four classes/skill trees, with your character starting with one and being able to later learn one other (from a book): Avenger is a furious close combat warrior, with little concern about self-presevation. Defender is concentrating on survival skills and ranged combat. Scholar is the most capable lore-wise, but not as good at combat. Necromancer embraced the darkness and can use many of dark objects in the dungeon to his own benefit.
