LC123 is a lightweight utility and level format for video game design. The interface is so efficient, you wont realize you've been working. Square tiles are placed with various tools onto a display grid and saved as a .map file. You get different tools. A paintbrush, pencil, eraser, screenfill, copy, paste, and pallete. You can set the map number, name, size, background and musictrack.
There's a minimap and tileswapper. Transparent and Animated tiles are supported. Only 5 layers are supported (background,collision,foreground,object,hex,). Default and Custom variables, password protection and Image processing included. Be sure to hold the F1 key for a control splash screen.
