Bugs:
No FFT
Timing can be off on complex songs
Not every effect is implemented, only those needed for visual jumps, and some of those are missing, too.
Some other things I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Description:
I like MOD tracker files and so I've tried, a couple of times, to make a tracker. So here's another attempt in LOVE2D 11.4 which "works".
Love2D's tracker plugin does all the heavy lifting. My part was just the stuff you see on screen so this probably will never be capable of MAKING Mods, but can play them even if the visuals get... weird sometimes.
I've included one of my own *.MOD files to test the player. Others can be found on the MODARCHIVE.ORG
I've also included the FMODDOC.TXT by FireLight. It's Copyright, but I don't think he'd mind since it was written 30 years ago and is probably the only source of MOD file breakdown available anymore.
I've also included the source code here for those who want to poke around with Tracker music as programming practice. You can extract it from the ZIP, but this is easier.
Controls:
Drag & Drop your *.MOD file onto the open program
Press "SPACE" to start/stop/reset the song
"PGUP" - Makes the screen 4x Size
"PGDWN" - Makes the screen 2x Size
