Baixe o arquivo zip, e logo após isso, o coloque na àrea de trabalho (recomendo o colocar em um pasta). Depois disso, clique com o botão direito do mouse no arquivo zip, e clique em "extrair aqui". Depois disso, aparecerá uma pasta chamada "instalador" clique duas vezes nela, e então, você verá os executáveis "Minecraft.exe" e "minecraft alpha 1.2.6 update" execute o arquivo minecraft.exe, e depois execute duas vezes o arquivo minecraft alpha 1.2.6 update. O icone do jogo irá aaparecer em sua area de trabalho. E o jogo estará funcionando perfeitamente.

Lembrando que essa versão suporta versões mais antigas do java. Caso instale uma versão mais recente, há muita chance de não funcionar.

Como instalar o Java:

Ela tem um método diferente de dowload:

Baixe o arquivo .zip e então, depois disso, crie uma pasta na sua área de trabalho, ou se já tiver baixado a versão alpha 1.2.6, coloque o .zip nessa pasta, e depois disso, clique com o botão direito do mouse no arquivo, e clique em "extrair aqui" depois disso, uma pasta chamada ".minecraft" vai aparecer junto dele, junto com o arquivo .exe do minecraft, e então, copie a pasta .minecraft. Depois disso, pressione a tecla "Windows" e "R" juntas, e na caixa, digite "%appdata%" e então, vão aparecer algumas pastas, e então, cole a pasta .minecraft, e depois disso, você pode abrir o jogo, que estará funcionando normalmente.

Porém, você vai precisar excluir a alpha 1.2.6, para que as versões não misturem e causem erro. Mas os seus saves ficam salvos normalmente!
