I'm really intrigued by the story, and the puzzle I ran across was well put-together (it confused me for a while but I got there in the end!).
Unfortunately things seemed to come to an abrupt end once I figured the puzzle out, I got an error screen and the game crashed on me. I tried it out a couple of times but kept getting the same issue. So I'm not sure if that's where the demo is meant to end, or if something went wonky somewhere!
Either way, what there is so far is pretty enjoyable, if not brief. The flashes of story seem really interesting and I'll definitely pop back and keep an eye out for updates! =)
So I see a lot of improvement with the game play and the art/style really came together nicely... but I feel like I'm a reverse veggie tale character. My arms are there but where is the rest my body? Also I hear footsteps but I don't have feet?
Am i the invisible man or am I on an acid trip?
There are too many bugs in the game, I keep ending up outside the house and in some cases when levels load I just fall off the map into the dead zone.
The game has a lot of potential but needs work. On the mail screen it gives you options for settings and controls but you can't open them. I greatly enjoyed the music, I felt that it really fit the atmosphere well, however it sounds like you are walking with bricks in your shoes. The lighting could use some work. the lighting started out fine in the beginning, then once I was teleported out of the house and to the first puzzle area it became so dark you could barely see. the controls also need work. it's difficult to figure out how to do things in the beginning because the control screen is only up for a few seconds during loads. falling through the map was a problem quite a few times. The story line could use more elaboration as to what is happening. lastly is the player model relative to the environment. if you are supposed to play as a child then this is fine, however things are scaled weirdly such as, the front door being huge, some of the chairs being very small, and then the dining area pretty much being what you would expect a normal size to be. Again, this game has a lot of potential so keep it up, I'm excited to play the next updated version when it's released.
