The world is no more

After the start of the Cold War in 1947, things continued to escalate between the superpowers. In 1956, Russia declared war on the United States, which became a very complicated and bloody war for both sides, but especially Russia. In 1961, Russia broke the laws of war and began using new chemical weapons in a desperate last-ditch attempt to win the war. The chemicals proved to be very deadly and difficult to control, leading to great death in both the United States and Russia. In addition, the dead bodies began to mutate with plant life and were revived. Because the chemicals were very difficult to control, and the monsters continued to spread them, so many people began to die, both in the war and now civilians. The monsters quickly spread to other countries, and the superpowers began to panic. In this panic, the United States accelerated its development, and from this they managed to develop working cryotechnology in 1968, in which they could deep-freeze people to later come back a long time later when the monsters were gone. They only had time to create a few hundred because of how expensive and complicated they were to make, so they froze the people in them. In 1985, Jim wakes up several decades before he was supposed to leave his pod, confused. Most of the other pods have flatlined or are destroyed. He makes his way out of the now destroyed laboratory and sees that the monsters haven't disappeared, and that everyone is gone. The main character's name is Jim Moore and he is 32 years old. The United States froze important people like the president and politicians and those who paid the most, but for those who remained, they had to sign up to do several different kinds of tests. These tests tested strength, endurance, intelligence and the like. Jim was one of the few who passed the tests, and was chosen to be frozen.#horror #survival #openworld #hardcore
