I'm still upset for NIGHTFALL AT MARIO'S getting cancelled.
Nightfall at Mario's is a FNaF fangame set in an alternate universe to Five Nights at Sonic's, roles have been swapped, altered and adapted to fit their new roles. Mario is now the star of the show!
It's been two years since the accident, and Luigi has not gotten over what happened at the last location, He carries his guilt and anxiety everywhere he goes. like a shadow draining his life, but matters are about to get far more exhausting.
The former nightguard at Super Mario's Pizza Arcade had been fired suddenly, and the location was in desperate need of a replacement while they sent out job fliers. Mario believes his brother would be perfect for the job until a replacement is hired.
Luigi's job is to watch the building for the night and make sure the clones that run the location don't get into trouble, Little does he know that a sinister plot is brewing, sabotage is at play, and the clones are full of nothing but hatred when the lights turn off.
Story - Nightfall at Mario's story will attempt to bring more complexity and character development than Five Nights at Sonic's. The story is written to make as much sense as possible in the universe, the story will choose to show you events instead of explaining them, if something changes during your shift, you witness how and why.
Gameplay - The gameplay aims to be familiar but unique, At first glance it will look simple, but as time goes on mechanics deepen in complexity, making you form new strategies and tactics to survive the night.
Style - The style was chosen to be unique and appealing, heavily based on UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE by Toby Fox, The style changes depending on what is currently present. If you are in any danger, such as inside a night, the game will go black and white to show your danger, if you are safe and free to do what you like, the colour will be restored!
Q: Why is Tails a girl?
A: We wanted to prevent the game from being exclusively boys, so we added one girl to balance it a bit.
Q: What's with the style?
A: We wanted to make the game feel different from other FNaF fangames by exploring different styles, We decided to have the game be based on UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE as a result!
Q: What's with Luigikid?
A: The cast came from swapping characters in the FNaS series, so I had Golden Sonic swap with another poster easter egg, which gave us the framework for Nightfalls story! Don't worry though, they ain't the REAL LuigiKid, it's just a name.
Q: Will there be a DEMO?
A: We want people to experience the game in full completion instead of releasing it in pieces, We feel like it would help the game so much more, and will get people more excited for the final product!
Q: Will there be sequels?
A: If Nightfall does well and we are all motivated too, we will 100% consider making sequels!
Q: Why Sonic characters?
A: To retain some of those FNaS Roots, but they are some of the only ones in the entire story, it's mostly Mario characters in this series.
Q: Is the game coming back?
A: No, I just recreated the game page cause Smiler deleted it off Gamejolt for some reason, this does not mean the game is back.
Q: Can I remake it/use the characters for my projects?
A: No.
