August 2020 Update - Faces, Faces, Faces!

It's been a crazy summer for everyone, but Outset's development has continued! Behind the scenes, development has reached several new regions. The game has lots of new features, platforming, and characters!

Speaking of characters...

...here's 49 of them!

In Outset, every NPC has unique portrait artwork, from major characters who follow you throughout the journey, to the ones who you'll only meet once or twice. Each individual portrait also has multiple expressions, so dialogue stays dynamic and stylish!

These aren't even all the characters in the game, but you'll have to wait to meet them all!

In other news, the free Chapter 1 demo has been updated with new fixes, improvements, and a little extra content! Due to some platform limitations, it's recommended that you use the Steam version to check out the changes.

Thank you again for everyone's support! See you in the next devlog, where a new area will be revealed!
