The black square is a cat, and the white square is a mouse, in case you were confused. the game auto resets to the start of the level a few seconds after you, are eaten buy the cat, squashed by the mouse trap, or enter the void. Eat the Cheese at the end of the level to finish it.
Sorry but I don't have the editable files to fix some of the alinment issues with the graphics in the game. It functions properly though

The cheese at the end of the third level is poisoned, as show by the green spots on it, so when you eat it you die and are eaten by the cat, resulting in the cat being poisoned by you. I can't recall if you eating the poison cheese was an intentional sacrifice or not, I made it a long time.
