Earlier on Green Hill Zone, Sonic was just sleeping during Tails' call. But then an unknown demon showed up from the top of the tree heading towards Sonic, trying to take his soul away and possessed his body from taking over the island.

The 3 victims, known as Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnik. Had to survive the demon that possessed Sonic. If they managed to survive, then they must find out what happened to Sonic or else 3 victims will die.
