The game events happens after Sonic forces
Sonic were stopping Eggman in freedom city once again but suddenly
An army of an unknown king were trapped in the underground got freed from it
Sonic tried to stop them but he couldn't, they broke all of the powerful artifacts in Mobius
After a week later
Eggman was in his base
But his base (flying battery) got destroyed by the slaughters, he escaped from it
The flying battery fell near sonic but he escaped, sonic got unconscious for a while after that Tails called him because he found a new strange artifact that has the same power of the chaos emeralds
Sonic spent the night with him, while they were sleeping one of the slaughters sneaked into the house and with Xton and he possessed sonic, after that Xton took full control of Sonic's body and Tails woke up and Xton started to chase him but Tails managed to escape from him
In Sonic's mind the figure absorbed Sonic's soul and they become one person after that Xton went to Fang and made a deal with him that if he helps him to kill the characters he will give him a piece of the master emerald, Fang accepted and he will be in Xton's side,can you stop them from killing them
