SUPER SEGA MUGEN

SuperSegaMugen is back and is better than it was initially released! I've decided to keep the old version of SuperSegaMugen alongside the newer version, but the older version will no longer be updated, the newer version, while featuring less characters, contains a more balanced roster, and more characters that you can actually PLAY as, slightly less guest characters due to the fact that I want to avoid making them the highlight of the mugen, improved and more original backgrounds, new fonts, new music, and I even left some secret and old characters in the new version if you want to try them out, they're quite fun, that's actually where Super Sonic and Super Shadow reside now. Minigames had some overall patches, alongside some bosses, the Streets of rage characters have consistent gameplay styles and are actually playable than how they were initially released. There are more changes coming out later as well, what I have planned for now is.

-Making a default ending

-Adding an actual story, rather than the garbage "Axel and Sonic vs Dark Sonic" story that I had before, including an intro and dialogues after fights which give more context.

-Potentially rearranging the arcade ladder for a shorter experience

-Potentially adding TWO final bosses

For now, I hope you really enjoy the game! I worked really hard on improving the game and I enjoyed it as well (Some parts a little less than others but that's neither here nor there).

98 Characters are in the newer version as opposed to the 100+ characters that were in the last one. But with that amount of characters, there are some that I added that maybe shouldn't be played as, whether due to it not being meant to be played as a character or due to unfairness, but feel free to do whatever you want.

  I am aware that this is a pretty huge chunk of the roster, 73 characters are still playable in total but these characters serve as minigames/Bosses for the player, if you do have complaints and want some of the minigames or Bosses to be playable characters instead, let me know and I will take it into consideration, another alternative if you don't like them is to put your own character in in their place, this is a mugen after all.

Finally, I want to end off by saying I own none of the characters, stages, or music featured in this game and I make no money off of this game and nor do I intend on doing so, I'm just a random guy making a fighting game with some characters he grew up with for entertainment purposes.
