As i usually do I got some tips for making this! Look up rivals of aether and check out it's modding scene, see how they made the game with that capability, what apps they used, what known tricks there are for making this kind of game
And finally, look up
Hitboxes
Hurtboxes
Smear attack animations
Seamless animations
Audio playing
For gamemaker or whatever engine you want to use
I was taking a shit in the bathroom (where all good ideas happen) when I had realized that there are ALOT of different Sonic.EXEs with powerful ability's. So lets put em' in a Smash Bros Game!
