O Mundo Da Fantasia

just played through the 0 chapter and i have to say that the game is very good!) it has a colourful, distinct style, very well-done sprites, great full-screen illustrations, awesomely-done sound design and music that slaps hard, and it also performs pretty well!) good job!

there are also a lot of small but, nevertheless, great details that make the experience all the more enjoyable - like the very helpful ability to choose the language at the start, the very nice illustration in the main menu, the battle animations and the face sprites used in the dialogues, all of which are top-notch!) the locations you visit while in the Fantasy World really have that otherwordly feeling with all of the weird colors and strange inhabitants - it kinda reminds of Spore, especially the plants!) also, the idea for using mythology and local folklore in the game is awesome and not only allows the players to learn more about another culture but also does a great job in establishing the game's world!)

but, with all that said, there are a few problems with the game - mainly technical and some spelling mistakes here and there in the english version. firstly, if you take the stone road from the forest and go to the map with the abandoned blue house you can't go back for some reason - there are no events on the map that take you back to the forest map( another bug with locations is in the place where you first meet Twinkle - if you go back there after getting Twinkle added to your party then you can still se her and pipiwi's standing like in the beginning of the cutscene, but you also can't interact with them... as for the spelling and text errors, there's not much of them, but i've wrote down the ones i encountered: when getting an explanation of the controls the game says "setas" instead of "arrows". next, after you defeat the first enemy, pipiwi, Prot says "why did it attacked me" - replace "attacked" with "attack". and, finally, when you meet Gicrow he says "but you isn't sleeping", when it should be "but you aren't sleeping" - that's all for the text errors!) KidGamer337, if you could polish out all of the spelling mistakes and fix the beforementioned bugs, then the game will become even better!

all in all, chapter 0 of The Fantasy World is pretty good - not only is it generally fun to play but it also serves as a great introduction to the game's world! the various characters you meet along the way, the references to the folklore, the colorful enviroments that you can explore - all of it is very well done!)
