The Legend of Two Brothers & the Misfortune

A 2d platform game inspired by a tale from Ukrainian folklore called “The Story of The Unlucky Days”.
It tells a story about two brothers, one rich and the other poor. The miserable brother leaves his house to look for a way to get rid of his misfortune. On his journey he faces numerous obstacles. Will he succeed or is the misfortune going to hunt him forever? 

Mini-Manual

Game should open in full screen. “Exit” in all menus means closing of the game. Like most traditional platformers, to progress we move to the right, fight and avoid the enemies, and also jump on various elements of the environment.

IN MAIN MENU CONTROLS

– Navigation using mouse and clicking on the desired option

IN PAUSE MENU CONTROLS

– Esc – return
– Space – confirm choice in the in game Pause Menu
– Down/Up Arrow Keys – navigation in the in game Pause Menu

IN GAME CONTROLS
– Esc – open Pause Menu
– Space – jump
– Left/Right Arrow Keys – character movement
– “X” Key – attack
