SandSoul left the KoP community 5 years ago in the interest of joining the authorities as an investigator. Now, in 2025, a community veteran that left in 2019 Squilliam Fancyson has been found dead just east of TFRI (The Foolish Refugees' Island) in the Atlantic. Sand is tasked with finding evidence of the killer, and so must return to The Foolish Refugees after half a decade.
