In the True Lab, a desperate Sans from another Genocide Route injected himself with Determination Serum to save his collapsing AU. As his form began to melt, he used the Determination Extractor to transfer both himself and Chara (the Player) into the Void—a realm between dimensions. There, he sacrificed his physical form to awaken the Sans of this timeline, imbuing him with his own fractured essence.

1. "This void... will not let your hatred prevail."

2. "Your genocide ends... here, human."
   （你的屠杀... 到此为止，人类。）

3. "This pain... fuels my determination."

Act 2: The Reawakened Guardian

(背景故事 - 第二阶段)
The original Sans, now infused with the alternate Sans's memories and resolve, confronts Chara in the Void. Realizing the sacrifice made to revive him, he 发誓 to protect what remains of his world, even if it means destroying the one responsible for its suffering.

1. "I see it all... your sacrifice, brother."

2. "Time to finish what you started, human."

3. "This time... I won't let anyone fall."
