Wolfwalkers for NES
What if the critically acclaimed movie "Wolfwalkers" had come out 35 years earlier and received an obligatory tie-in videogame for the Nintendo Entertainment System?
Welcome to Wolfwalkers for NES, a retro-styled platformer that aims to recreate the style of some of the later games in the NES' lifespan.
Featuring period-accurate graphics, sound effects, and 8-bit remixes of the movie's OST (courtesy of Nestir).
Play as either Mebh Óg MacTÃre or Robyn Goodfellowe and fight the Lord Protector and his men to escape the forest together. Transform into a wolf to jump higher, or stay as a human to defeat your enemies from afar.
And with the help of Robyn's pet falcon Merlyn, you can run free in no time.
Controls:
Arrow keys - Move
Space - Jump
Control - Attack
Shift - Transform
Enter - Pause
Escape - Quit
Tip: As a wolf, crouch and quickly press "Space" to jump even higher than before.
