An ambitious planned small-to-medium sized game based off of my scratch top-down shooter which will hopefully make up for the graphics with gameplay. Planned features include:

-A map composed of tiles, each containing their own area.

-A huge variety of zombies with special abilities, weaknesses, strengths, etc.

-"Zombie Migration," zombies move from tile to tile, so previously clear areas might get new uninvited guests.

-Looting, crafting, an inventory system, resource harvesting.

-A fully destructible environment, so nowhere is safe from zombies

-Zombies come in constantly, not in waves.

-Some kind of base-building mechanics

-A story (based on a story where hallucinogenic drugs allow for connection with otherworldly supernatural entities)

-Multiple endings, along with a perfect, world-saving ending

-A roguelike type weapons system (You're given a variety of weapons to choose from, you can choose simple guns or melee or fight using combos, such as covering an enemy in gasoline, then burning them)

-A world that's a splice between sci-fi and the modern world (hi-tech things exist but aren't "mainstream" )

-and more...

Hopefully i can develop this game further, i'm still only a beginner to game development so i'll develop this game as i learn. The age rating will change to fit the newest version of the game. Everything is subject to change.

Alright, to be honest, this "small" break might gave been a mix of not knowing what I'm doing and just laziness, but I feel like I might be getting back into it, so if I make more progress I'll post it here.

Zombies now drop cloth, i've decided to take a small break from working on the game, after this i'll work on making a crafting system

I've managed to improve the inventory, now items can be stacked and things can be picked up, i'll probably finish the inventory later, for now i might improve zombie spawning and make zombies drop some items.

Forgot to mention in the previous post, next i'll be working on picking up items, an inventory system and possibly building barricades, i've got the barricades working already (though it needs some tweaks) so i'll just figure out how to make it placeable

I'm happy to announce that I've managed to get the interaction system working, on top of that I also fixed some systems and added stamina which you can use to sprint to go fast or run to escape emergencies. The game is starting to look playable.

So far only a small basis for the game has been made, I'm working on an interaction system (E to interact) next.
