What do you think?

Nice pixel art! The cutscenes look really good, especially the ending!

Tricky! Looks really good. Trying to beat the game is quite addictive. And the music is super badass! I wish the time from when you die to when you start over again was shorter, but otherwise good work!

Great little game, challenging and all. And what an ending, beautiful!

Really sweet graphics and music. I included it in part 10 of my Lowrezjam compilation video series! youtu.be/g5uCAOYccbw

Impressively cinematic! I like that earth is visible in the background, serenely waiting. After reading your description, I wondered if the Game Over screen might be a bit too "horror" for the mood your going for? The dripping blood effect makes it seem like the astronaut has been eaten by sharks more than lost to space... Does that make sense?

SYNOPSIS:
A Quiet [Space] is a platform game set in space.
You play as Nostos, an astronaut on a scientific expedition to the moon. Everything is going well when suddenly the moon's surface is bombarded by a meteor shower. Your suit is badly damaged and begins to vent atmosphere.
Desperately you must run back to the safety of your lunar lander and return home.

CONCEPT:
We loved the idea of trying to tell a story and evoke emotion with just a few pixels. The whole notion intrigued and challenged us.
The idea behind Nostos (which is Greek for 'welcome home' or 'returning from a long journey'), is that he or she in what could be their last hours, are reminded of what is really important to them... home, family, finding out what happens in the next episode of Game of Thrones.
We wanted to form an emotional relationship between the player and Nostos as well as to create a tense, suspenseful atmosphere to contrast with the peaceful, serene Earth waiting patiently in the distance.
Essentially Nostos is an idea and a handful of coloured sqaures so this proved to be a particularly challenging exercise.

We hope that you enjoy the game as much as we did making it!
