Great Idea, but not finished, from first look is looking very good, but for some reason i cant buy a plane. my rating: 7/10
What is it about?
Airline Director allows you to establish your own airline, you play to maximize your profits and become a world wide mega corporation. You start by choosing a name, and a starting city. From over 200 cities, across the globe. Expanding by creating new routes and adding new planes to them.
What can you do currently?
The games current functionality includes:
Building new airports in cities, and closing down old or unprofitable ones.
Purchasing new aircraft.
Creating new routes, and removing old ones.
Adding planes to routes.
What other features are planned?
Features currently planned or in development are:
Generating income for routes, using an agent system which rewards players for strategizing.
An event system that causes random and scripted events, which will have an impact on the game world.
A tech tree where players can unlock new technologies which can be retrofitted, to preexisting aircraft, or will be included in newer ones.
Controls
Rotate the camera around the earth using W, A, S and D.
Zoom the camera in by pressing shift, zoom out by pressing control.
Use A and D to browse the aircraft menu.
Right click on a city to view its information, purchase it, or to close the airport.
Left click on a city to start creating a route. Use the drop down menu to cancel or confirm your route.
Press R to lock the camera position in relation to earth.
