It's not metroidvania but it's good exploration game and worth playing :)
I think that check point must be more frequently, in more obvious place and graphics not perfect, but it plays well and game has big potential. Music is very suitable.

In the beginning, it was supposed to be just a technical problem in the communicating with the mine, it become a nightmare, bathed in blood and oil.
Below of the mine, a hid laboratory, studies were made of a new organic matter, capable of taking mechanical bodys as hosts.
An electrical failure in the mine resulted not only in loss of communication with the metropolis, but also caused the break in the security system of the laboratory, releasing the organic matter, and now they are free and spread all over the mine, they are very aggressive, all workers of mine are missing or dead, and is still a mystery about the location of the bodies.
Z-9, an android soldier, is sent to the mine to finish this plage.
Antrosoma is a metroidvania game made in 2 months. It is a college project with a team of 5 people.
