I want you to continue the game, I have unironicly LOOKING for a game like this
This is a really cool concept and I really like the gameplay. However there are some pretty big problems, mainly with really confusing level design. When you get to the level with the spinning boxes, there is one point where there are arrows pointing in two directions, indicating that either path works. I went through both like 5 times and never found the solution to the level, and often found myself falling out of the world because I couldn't see what was below me. A lot of these puzzles are great, they just need more direction. Also, the collisions need some work so I don't get stuck on a wall or the ceiling. But great start!
good work!
Cute game!! Love the look of it and the concept. Well done, can't wait to see it finished!
Hey! Great idea on this game. I really like the worm hole and gravity changes! You probably knew this already, but the "Restart level" function is not working. The saving function sort of works a bit against it purpose at one point, where the rotating blocks with the spikes stay rotating, making it impossible to move on. (see screen cap) http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/LSZNeAeJLBc/hqdefault.jpg Anyways, I look forward to the finished product. It should be great! :)
Apple and Worm is a surreal puzzle platformer where you have to navigate a space that has been curved and connected back onto itself in all kinds of weird ways. While navigating you will find yourself walking on ceiling, walls, sometimes smaller, sometimes larger, apples and bananas will be the same, taxes will be doing you, and gravity is just a suggestion.
The current build is basically a tech demo. No story and just five levels. Let me know if you experience any problems, bugs, or even poor performance. I am going to use this demo to gauge the reception and decide how much more of my time I want to invest in this project.
Controls: arrow keys to move and Z to jump. This build has a cheat where you can jump infinitely even while on air. So I trust you won't use it! You know what, just forget I mentioned it.
