The primary objective of AubreyWorks is to provide a beginner-friendly introduction to game-development. AubreyWorks prides itself in its accessibility, which is accomplished by its forgiving beginner-friendly functions and the software's ease of use. Games build instantly, the software can be downloaded in seconds, and save files can be dragged and dropped into any platform. AubreyWorks is big on practical learning, so rather than following written or video tutorials (which do exist), beginners are encouraged to study the code of games published to the platform. A core aspect of AubreyWorks is the community it is driven by, so you can expect frequent community building events and to make some friends. Express yourself in code, in art, or by supporting AubreyWorks' ongoing development. AubreyWorks' extensive documentation can support the beginners journey past the initial learning curve, with a comprehensive list of functions, guides, debugging guides, crucial information, and extras. AubreyWorks games are in-platform and cannot be exported to .zip files without an accompanying code interpreter (bundling the software), to ensure simplicity and community. v22 has just been published. With new error messages, condensed art saving (~10x), and newly added window resizing.

v21, the 'Refinement Update', has released. Enjoy up to 20 Instance variables, themes, a new extension, and other improvements.

v20 has just been introduced to both the Itch.io and GameJolt pages. AubreyMaker has rebranded to AubreyWorks, games can be published in engine, and other features have been added.

AubreyMaker v19 release. Key features: Instances, double FPS, and multiple scripts. These features give developers tools for collision, enemies, projectiles, and others.
