I found the visuals to be rather stunning, but beyond that it felt a little strange. Now, I don't play a lot of driving or racing games to begin with but with no timer or ghost there was very little urge to take the courses quickly. The roads were extremely easy to fall off of and the fact that the steering input is digital instead of analog makes it so you have three options: straight, full left or full right. As there is no in between, I found myself taking leisurely Sunday dives along the coast or a volcano as there was no reason to play recklessly. The single winding road in the various landscapes has a very nice aesthetic to it, but it also makes the levels feel really samey.
Driving a muscle car on edgy cliffs? Sounds like a bad idea... But actually it's quite fun! Car physics will make the game-play control easy, but hard to master!
